Why do we pray to god?
Everyone has their own reasons and arguments and I'm just stating mine here so that you might rethink your faith in god or at least give a thought to it...
What is God?
What is God?
- Is he some higher power who controls whatever happens to us and everyone else??
 - Or is he a belief people have who actually doesn't exist there, and people worship him just because they are afraid?

- First it was fire as he couldn't understand what was fire
 - then the rain (what caused them)
 - Mountains (what created such large structures)

But as with the passage of time science, explained many of these things, people stopped worshiping them and gave shapes or forms to their gods and started idol worship.
But now almost everything can be explained by science so the question arises why do we really worship god still?
A simple answer comes because he gives us strength to do things successfully.
We have faith in him that he ll do everything right.
MY BELIEF is that I pray to god because it gives me confidence.
Our mind needs some assurance that there is someone else with us who will be there to guide us to look after us if something goes wrong. Our mind is a very powerful thing(more of it in next post.)
That is what prayers are for, to convince our mind.
God for me doesn't exist in reality. He does nothing for us.He is just a source of confidence and trust.
So i hate superstitions.I hate when people leave everything to God.
When it is said God lives inside us,it means "God is actually inside us,he is with us whenever we need him.".
We just need to believe in us.
That's what God is and always will be for me...
